Floral Decoupaged Mixed Media Art Wallhanging Ornament, Autumn-Fall Decor

I decoupaged the backplate of this piece after painting it white using a rice paper design by Andy Skinner for Decoupage Queen in colors suitable for autumn and year around. On the front oval I painted a blue, then crackle medium and then white. I distressed it beyond the crackle. Then onto it went resin cast appliques which were also painted in the blue, then dry drushed with the white paint.  The piece was varnished in matte varnish. I hand dyed a white lace ribbon in batik paints to achieve the blue on white as seen. The bow was tied with a rose being placed into the center. The piece is assembled together allowing for its owner to slide the front across the back to see the full floral design.

Each one-of-a-kind piece is handcrafted with loving care, making it as unique as the person who will treasure it for years to come. Items that are custom made, handmade or handpainted may have slight imperfections and should be considered as part of the charm of the piece.
