Green with Envy Decoupaged Mixed Media Art Ornament, Halloween Decor

This decoration wascreated using one section of Decoupage Queen Rice Paper retired design, Checks & Critters, which comes 6 to a sheet. I decoupaged it onto the MDF surface and then painted each surface with Pentart Acrylic Matte in Olive. Fineline crackle effect with White Antique Paste gives an eery cracked appearance over the butterfly. A raised harlequin stencil at the top of the tag further gives texture. I cast a bird using resin and covered it with Black Creamy Acrylic Semi-Gloss and once it was dry I used Chrome Rub On Pigment from Pentart in Dragon Eye and Ruby. A satin bow and ribbon are affixed with a brooch.
