Fall Leaves Acorn Decoupaged Mixed Media Art Ornament, Autumn-Fall Decor

This acorn ornament was decoupaged using a napkin with fall leaves in shades of oranges, yellows, browns and teals. The ornament itself is MDF in two layers, the backing and the scroll acorn outline shape. I handpainted the acorn outline shape to enhance the colors in the napkin. I used rust effect medium to create a rustic finish and added a teal shade to give dimension to the patina I created.

Though this ornament was created with autumn in mind it would be lovely displayed year round for those that love a nature-inspired look. This beautiful piece of artistry adds an eye-catching and timeless element to any space, and can serve as a reminder to always appreciate the beauty of nature.
