Gold Leaf Vases Trio Artisanal Décor

Thrifted milk jugs upcycled to vintage-style gold leafed vases. 

I cleaned the jugs and then got to work transforming them. I placed a raised stencil and then painted each jug in a light cream color. Decoupage rice paper was applied next. Clay casted molds provide texture and visual interest. I antiqued them using gels and waxes, then crackle effect. Gold leafing adds a pop of glamour. They're sealed with a glossy varnish.
