Salem Apothecary Large Décor Tag, Halloween Decor, Mixed Media Tag, Holiday

Using an 8x10 MDF tag as the base, I created a raised stencil around the Decoupage Queen, Salem Apothecary designs and framed it with heat-bendable, wood-like trimmings. For the corners, I added clay flowers. After painting the tag with black chalk paint, I applied Pentart White Antiquing Gel, wiping and painting back, then waxing the flowers and leaves. For the final touch, I smudged Gold Wax onto the embellishments, the trim, and raised stenciling, topping it off with a silk ribbon tassel that has hidden findings, and ribbon for hanging.
