This thrifted cabinet door underwent a complete rebirth.
After a thorough scrubbing, I primed it with Pentart Dekor Primer and black gesso, followed by applying Crackle Medium. The frame was daubed in Cappuccino Dekor Chalky Paint and the inside in white. Then, I decoupaged Twilight Portrait from the Decoupage Queen Fall 2023 Collection, and crafted some floral appliques. I used resin in mostly La Blanche moulds with the purpose of recreating a leafy canopy.
Heavy Body Gel mixed with Black Pigment Paste was painted on the canopy while Olive Acrylic Matte Paint, Chameleon waxes, Gold Pigment Powder and Pigment Fix, and Thorn Media Mist Spray were also used.
The bird and Woodubend accents were painted with Gold Pigment. Dark & Light Green Moss Effect Paste, Grass Effect Paste, and Black Acrylic paint were used on the bottom of the frame.
The entire piece was sealed with Pentart Dekor Varnish.
